On January 17th the Guelph Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Technology Economy Conference at the Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing. Over 100 attendees from the Tri-City area gathered to learn about “Creative Collaboration”. Keynote speaker Matt Thompson, Chief Storyteller for the Mozilla Foundation kicked off the event followed by workshops on On Line Collaboration Initiatives, On Line Continuous learning and On Line Web Presence.
In the afternoon, attendees were treated to a real life, hands-on collaborative experience run by Guelph’s own, world renowned Eagle’s Flight. The result was a 20 foot long bridge built in record time:
