The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has published our detailed policy positions and summary positions developed from the business community in Canada, and compared these to platforms of Canada's parties which held seats in our last parliament. This is not to endorse any one party, but it is interesting to note which parties are favouring business led initiatives.
On yesterday's cross Canada Canadian Chamber conference call, BC Chambers were saying few election signs are showing a lack of interest in the election and similar comments were echoed from various parts of the country. Many Chambers across the country were saying candidates from all parties were not attending public discussions, and attendance was down from the public as well. Hopefully this does not mean voters will stay away on May 2.
The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce has posted a "Get Out and Vote" rant, worth a looksee.
